| Resumo: | Aim: The aim of this case report was to describe the technique of an atraumatic maxillary sinus elevation next to the immediate implant placement in the posterior maxilla, seeking to reestablish de function and esthetic of the patient. Methods: The surgery involved the use of Summers osteotomes to restore bone volume and prepare the site where the implant was inserted. Results: Osseo integration and rehabilitation of the lost element were observed, restoring function, esthetic, and impacting the patient’s quality of life. Conclusions: Treatment has proved to be an excellent alternative for resolution of cases with low bone height, being a predictable and less invasive procedure than the traumatic sinus lift technique. |
