Sumario:A labyrinth, besides being a space with many twisting and strange paths, it represents a state of being and finding oneself lost. The labyrinthine situation not only presents itself in shaped mazes, with its curves, tangled trails and its difficult crossing to the center or end. Labyrinths are revealed in various ways to the traveler who is looking for something, that is, for the purpose of reaching a certain place at the end of his journey. In this sense, this article intends to analyze the passage through the “Forest of Darkness”, one of the places crossed in the adventure told in the book The Hobbit of 1937 by the writer J.R.R.Tolkien. Passing through this mysterious forest, the characters on the journey will come across sensations and feelings of a labyrinthine state of loss, oblivion, and the utmost need to reach the end of this place, so they can continue their homecoming adventure.
