Sumario:The Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) is a comparative assessment of student learning program developed by member countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The aim of this article was to analyze the results of Brazil in the content of Science, in the years 2006 and 2015, concerning Pisa results. The methodology used was based on a review literature, followed but an analysis of official documents using data from Pisa and Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep) results, trying to observe the changes that occurred in relation to the learning of sciences and their relations with the curriculum. The results indicate that public policies should be developed to improve Science education, which is in the background, in relation to Portuguese and Mathematics content.
