Sumario:Commom sense shows prejudices and assumptions like “young people don’t read” or don’t like reading, also the belief that college students aren’t dedicated to studying. However, “digital revolution’s” paradigms, point a new readers’ profile, especially important to Brazil in face of college students’ increase between 2008 and 2018. Based on 2.126 answers to the survey applied in Google Forms in 2017 from September 15 to November 5 this article pursuit to study and discuss UFF’s students reading practices and behavior. Stood out, mainly, answers to (1) “Have you read all or part of one or more books from the bibliographies of your course subjects in the last 30 days?” (2) Which? (Author and/or title), (3) You have read one or more non-technical printed books, which you spontaneously chose, for your leisure or enjoyment, in the past three months and (4) Wich? (Author and/or title)”. Statistics results are discussed on the present article.
