| Sumario: | The purpose of this paper is to approach, by a performative perspective (SCHECHNER, 2006; TAYLOR, 2012), to the problem of Argentine negritude in contemporary literature from some aspects of Washington Cucurto’s writing. We consider that is important to problematize the concept of black literature in Argentina, since this subject is so little discussed in terms of “national literature” – which could be understood as one of the responsible institutions for the construction of the nation's official versions that disdained, hidden, silenced and marginalized social groups that do not fit the idea of the white nation. In this article, we will cover the work of Cucurto, understanding it as a performative narrative(RAVETTI, 2002), in order to think about critical and creative movement it demandstowards the dominant representations on the question of Argentine negritude. |
