| Sumario: | In this study, we reflect on the documentation of the history of television through fiction. To this end, we analyze the representation and construction of the Alfredo Honório Show program from the fictional television station TV Ondas do Mar, in the Rede Globo telenovela Garota do Momento (2024). The methodological framework is based on qualitative, descriptive, documentary and historical research based on the representation of television in Brazilian fiction and the contributions on television style, aiming to observe the dimension of television as a textual form and its transformations. Thus, we understand how a television style represents the formation of a specific television structure still present in current Brazilian society and in television stations. We conclude that the study makes it possible to understand the construction of the history of television in early Brazil, based on fiction, as well as its functioning, structure and type of content broadcast in 1950. |
