Sumario:During the years of existence of the University for All Program (ProUni), created in 2005, there were numerous researches and discussions about its functionalities and effectiveness in the inclusion of people with low per capita family income in Higher Education, containing arguments against and favorable to their desigxn. Based on the state-of-art research method, this article seeks to analyze 52 qualified productions about ProUni, aiming at a better understanding of the following program-related dimensions: program design, profile of newcomers, student´s stay. Briefly, the reading of these productions indicates that ProUni has positively affected low-income students, previously with little chance of entering higher education and which would hardly be attended by public HEIs. However, there are still major challenges in terms of providing adequate conditions for them to maintain and complete their undergraduate courses.
