| Sumario: | Aim: To describe a historical series of ten year of outpatient care of the dental procedures in the primary care (PC) from the city Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul Brazil. Materials and methods: Descriptive study was realized. Data were collected from the Information Technology Department of the Unified National Health Systems (DATASUS in Portuguese) using TABNET app. The dental procedures realized in PC were assigned per the Table Management System of procedures, medicaments, orthosis, prostheses and Materials of the Unified Health Systems (SUS- SIGTAB in Portuguese). The dental procedures were grouped in five blocks following: surgery procedures, restoratives, urgencies, preventive procedures and periodontal. Data were collected in retrospective form of 2022 until 2012. Analyze descriptive was realized using dynamic table function of Excel. Results: One hundred forty-seven and eight hundred seventy-three dental procedures were found among 13.49 (9.12%) surgery procedures, 28.745 (19.4%) periodontal, 80.494 (54.4%) preventives, 16.220 (10.9%) restoratives, 8.070 (5.45%) endodontic e 850 (0.57%) urgencies. Discussion: The historical series dental procedures enable evaluate the procedures quantifiable realized that possible redesign the oral health actions via SUS. In addition, invasive procedures showed earlier intervention in health-disease process. Conclusion: That historical series showed a significate quantifiable of procedures less invasive, appoint to health policy with prioritize the heath maintenance and early intervention in the health-disease. |
