Sumario:Pediatric palliative care brings a comprehensive care philosophy that aims to address the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of ill children and their families. This article aimed to identify the psychological aspects involving the nursing team in pediatric palliative care. It is an literature review, the articles were collected from the Virtual Health Library and Scientific Electronic Library Online databases from 2011 to 2018. It was assumed that the nursing staff feels psychologically unprepared to deal with the emotions aroused in pediatric palliative care.
