| Summary: | This paper, of a theoretical nature, aims to search for approximations between Marxism and Ludwik Fleck's epistemology, identifying points of convergence and divergence. After analyzing the Marxian-Engelian writings and Fleck's monograph, we realize that both perspectives present a triadic and totalizing vision of the world, giving great importance to language to understand the movement of reality. The Marxist perspective presents great contributions for thinking about science from the Fleckian epistemology, since science can be perceived as reflecting the material relations of production and reproduction of existence. We also identified important epistemological divergences, mainly in relation to the "weak relativism" present in Fleck's conception of reality and the objective materiality of Marxist thought. This does not mean, however, that they are excluding thinkers, so we defend the use of Fleckian categories for the analysis of science from a Marxist reading key. |
