| Resumo: | This article brings reflections on the contributions of preceptors to the training process of residents of the Pedagogical Residency Program, Subproject “Mathematics teaching in the 6th year of Elementary Education: training experiences through the pedagogical residency”, from the Institute of Mathematical and Scientific Education of the Federal University of Pará. We rely on authors who discuss aspects of initial teacher training, teaching knowledge, as well as information contained in official documents on teacher training policies, in particular, Edites Capes nº 06/2018, to contextualize the guidelines of the The study is of a qualitative approach, using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, answered by 10 residents, and from the answers it is possible to indicate that the preceptor appears as: advisor, mediator of the theory and practice articulation, encouraging practices researcher, study and planning facilitator, reflection manager on d students' learning difficulties. |
