Descripción
Sumario:This article is part of the Master's Dissertation "Initial teacher training in the Physical Education course at UFCAT: the relationship between student statements and pedagogical curriculum documents". The study problematizes the initial training of professionals in the academic education of Physical Education and investigates the meanings attributed to "being a teacher" by undergraduates on the Physical Education course at UFCAT, with an emphasis on how these students understand their undergraduate course, their perspectives on the teaching profession and their initial training. We believe that the identity of the Physical Education teacher is related to belonging to the education, whether formal or non-formal. The debate is based on historical-dialectical materialist theory and discourse analysis from Bakhtinian theory.
