Descrição
Resumo:Investigated the adequacy of one Teste de Audibilização for the assessment of receptive language abilities in children with schoollearning problems. The test was administered ato 60 children referred to a psychoeducational clinic service and whose mean age was about two years above standardization sample age. Data analysis included comparisons with test norms for seven-year-old children, correlation with WISC scores and pertormance comparisons between groups of children with different levels of oral reading. Results suggested that the instrument has diagnostic power in the assessment of older children with scores below test norms; it works for both global receptive language dysfunction and specific verbal disabilities.
