Sumario:This is civil liability for environmental damage, with the general objective of understanding the TJMA'sunderstanding in relation to civil compensation for damage caused to the environment in the period from 2019 to2022. To this end, specific objectives were defined, including the analysis of the main characteristics of CivilLiability for environmental damage, the demonstration of how damage to the environment has a social impact, thedifferentiation of decisions coming from the TJMA and the identification of their reasons. The methodology usedconsists of an inductive approach, through research, analysis, survey and collection of jurisprudential data. Wesought to understand civil reparation for damage caused to the environment, contributing to a greaterunderstanding of the TJMA's position in relation to this crucial issue for the protection of the environment andfuture generations.
