Then, it explores its intersections and needs for the adoption of public policies in the area of economics in order to meet the constitutional determination of a dignified and well-old aging. Este texto tiene como objetivo resumir un enfoque en el campo de la gerontotecnología desde el punto de vista de la Economía de la Longevidad. Inicialmente se expone el contexto socioeconómico en el que emergen estos nuevos conceptos en los estudios de envejecimiento poblacional y gerontología. Luego, se exploran sus intersecciones y necesidades para la adopción de políticas públicas en el área de la economía, con miras a cumplir con la determinación constitucional de una vejez digna y sana.Este texto tem o objetivo de resumir uma abordagem da área da gerontecnologia dentro do ponto de vista da Economia da Longevidade. É exposto inicialmente o contexto socioeconômico no qual emergem esses novos conceitos nos estudos do envelhecimento populacional e da gerontologia.
