Descripción
Sumario:This paper examines the theme of intergenerational responsibility in light of the work Nature at the Margins of the Law: Ecology at the Test of Law by Belgian jurist François Ost. The aim is to analyze the following theoretical challenges: is there a duty to ensure the environmental heritage for the existence of future generations and which future generation are we talking about? To answer the problem, the thesis on project-nature, which is the result of the dialectical synthesis of the anthropocentrism and biocentrism debates that have existed for centuries on the relationship between these two theoretical perspectives, will be used. The research method to be used will be the deductive method. It is concluded that it will be through thinking without scaling or space/time limitations about the duty and intergenerational responsibility with the common heritage and humanity, for its extension to infinity, that will allow the conservation and survival of beings.
