Sumario:The aim of this article addressing the contribution of the Argentine philosopher Enrique Dussel, aiming to approach the environmental issue, neoextrativism and peripheral capitalism in Latin America. We recognize that the philosopher of Mendoza is not a strictly environmentalist thinker, but his philosophical and political contribution strain coping with the environmental issue in Latin America, especially in reflection on the process of capitalist accumulation and sociability and their relations from the modern world-system-colonial. The text is organized into four topics. At first, we indicate the relevance of the modern world-system-colonial while root that culminates in social struggles; in the second we a rapprochement between the environmental issue and the extraction in the pattern of peripheral sociability; in the third topic we will situate neoextrativist expropriations of capitalism in the perspective of environmental struggles in the pattern of sociability. At the end, we will score reading Dussel policy for the environmental issue tensioned by the logic of the modern world-system-colonial and of peripheral capitalism in AL.
