| Sumario: | The present work aims to analyze the way in which Blockchain technology has been perceived and used in organizations from the perspective of its legitimacy. To this end, it was decided to carry out the applied study, through exploratory and descriptive research, a quantitative approach through a survey applied to a group of respondents, in addition to a qualitative approach through an interview applied to a group of experts on the topic. The results of the quantitative approach showed that there is an importance in disseminating content and information due to the significant variation in knowledge about technology. The results of the qualitative approach highlighted the need for continuous research and important innovative solutions in the legitimacy process. The study offers relevant contributions to academia, by deepening knowledge about this technology, from the perspective of the perception of potential users, both individuals and professionals who work in organizations. Regarding implications for management, it can be stated that the study identifies elements that must be observed by organizations, to validate and legitimize the aforementioned technology, to enable its application. |
