| Sumario: | An exploratory research aiming at evaluating the use of the Portal of Periodic issues of Capes by the academic community was performed at Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). In this work we show the conclusions of this research. The facility and rapidity in accessing the Portal were considered satisfactory, as well as the low cost, the possibility of amplifying the universe of researches, and coping on equal terms with other IFES considered positive points, as negative points, the absence of some periodic titles, and the lack of technological support provided by the UFC were cited by some of the users. The most frequent users come from the Exact and Earth, Agricultural and Biological Sciences, and the Portal is more accessed in Carnpus do Pici. The Science Areas that were not: trained showed weak performance. |
