| Sumario: | This paper analyzes the meaning relations which are inherent to the theoretical-methodological configuration of Pêcheux’s discourse analysis, as it has begun in France, during the 20th century. To this end, firstsocio-historical-political and intellectual production conditions were outlined, from the beginning of the 1960s to 1983, bearing in mind the extra-linguistic factors that have influenced the linguistic ideas proposed. After that, the ideas on language raised by the DA project were analyzed, observing the subject-positions taken by the founders of the discipline, as well as the interdiscursive relations and the meaning displacement underlying the metalinguistic knowledges. |
