Descripción
Sumario:This article presents a comprehensive model for analyzing the processes of construction and occupation of urban spaces, taking into consideration the presence of two types of precarity represented by slums and planned neighborhoods. On one hand, it examines how the city is internally built through immanent practices within urban social life. On the other hand, it addresses the transformations produced by external factors, which exist before or beyond the urban realms they affect. The reflection seeks a balance between these two poles, avoiding dichotomies and emphasizing the importance of not favoring one modality over the other. The study highlights the need to recognize the heterogeneity and specificity of each urban context and explores the interactions among different agents involved in the production of spaces, times, and subjectivities.
