Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this article is to argue in favor of the following thesis: the core of the constitution of the welfare regime in Argentina is the paid work carried out by the majority of women. To defend this proposal, a review of the modality on what was built and if it was modified by social protection in the country will be carried out. In addition, an analysis of the empirical information will be carried out that allows projecting weights on the weight that paid work has in the economy. Assuming in a transversal way strong contributions from gender studies to debate how this work is carried out mainly by women. Recognizing at the same time that it is a work intentionally made invisible through an actively generated process. This unpaid work is essential for the organization of society, being a mechanism of domination by making it invisible. Finally, contributions will be established around social policies, those with the highest possible level of explicitness, this invisibility has been supported and deepened.
