Sumario:With this paper, we aim to open up the dialogue between Sartre and Lacan since the concept of anguish, having as a gateway some of the elaborations of the seminar 10. We also seek to outline the understanding of anguish from a Sartrian perspective, in addition of damarcating diferences between the authors conceptions of anguish. To carry out this crossing, we introduce the discussion by taking up some Freudian propositions about anguish; then, we explore Sartre’s interest in psychoanalysis and the importance of his attempts of integrate this field of knowledge into his existentialism. So, we extract from Sartrian work the outline of a theory of anguish to enter, finally, at the transposition between the authors, putting into dialogue conceptualizations of the French existentialist and psychoanalyst.
