| Sumario: | The objective of this article is to analyze the main narratives mobilized in the political communication of the far-right political communication on Telegram in the 2022 Brazilian elections. Considering the strategic role of the platform in the disinformation ecosystem, we analyzed 80 pieces of content in different formats that circulated in Bolsonaro-supporting groups on the messaging app during the second round from the base of the Telegram Monitor of the “Elections Without Fake” Project. We identified 24 themes in the content with the highest engagement, with the electoral fraud narrative being the primary narrative, appearing in 18% of the total. Without effective policies, Telegram facilitated the spread of these narratives in the electoral process. |
