Descripción
Sumario:Raúl Rivero's chronicles are observed as links that demarcate, in his account of daily life, a textual stronghold that tensions the power of the word beyond the ideological extremism of the island. They have a particular symbolic effect and denounce, by making visible the social context of Cuba at the end of the century. XX and beginning of the century. XXI. We will analyze the professional constitution of the thinker and poet, observed by the regime since the 90s, being seen as a subversive intellectual, due to his narrative exercise outside the revolutionary field and the exact description of his reality and that of all Cubans, through his journalism independent. We will examine the value of the chronicle as a text and expressive instrument of struggle and the critical point of view with which Rivero reflects, through these narratives of the people, the unequal socioeconomic and political context of Cuba. The study will be developed through qualitative, descriptive and bibliographical research. The objective of this work is to analyze some of his most important dissident chronicles. We will demonstrate that his narratives function as literary mechanisms of resistance and self-affirmation in defense of a truth without thresholds and without insular censorship.
