| Sumario: | The goal of this study is to analyze how the "Manifesto em repúdio ao preconceito contra as mulheres brasileiras em Portugal" [Manifesto in Respect of Prejudice Against Brazilian] questions the discourse of the character "Gina”, the program" Café Central ", in the “Rádio e Televisão Portuguesa”(RTP), which depreciated the Brazilian women. Therefore, we base ourselves on the reflections of the "Estudos Pós-Coloniais" and approach thoughts that involving the construction of identity and difference.
