Sumario:The role-play is a game where roles allow adults to play and learn to assume different roles. This teaching method, when used in the teaching of accounting, is a resource that promotes interactivity, through the use of storyboards, reflective student awakens a vision and develops new skills, such as critical thinking and participatory. The present study aimed to ascertain what are the perceptions students about the insertion of Role-play in the teaching of accounting-related skills and learning. The methodological procedure used as sources of information was the literature; about the objectives as exploratory research; the nature of the data characterized a qualitative research. The data collection was performed using a Focus Group, which is a group interview. It was noted by the student vision, the role-play, as an alternative teaching method in the teaching of Accounting, develops research skills, communication, sharpens critical thinking, exercises and group work provides an efficient learning, besides being a dynamic and interactive mode. The insertion of Role-play in teaching Accounting contributes to the development of skills and competencies needed for today’s professional accountant and also provides an efficient way to teach and learn.
