Descripción
Sumario:Lampião da Esquina was a publication of the brazilian alternative press aimed at the homosexual public, which circulated between 1978 and 1981. The journal had great importance because of speaking to an audience subdued by social norms. After 40 years of its emergence, we report here the creation and development of a journalistic product inspired by those newspaper's precepts: the EsQuina magazine. Anchored in a perspective of queer studies, taking it as a guide for the elaboration of an editorial proposal, the magazine's objective is to raise the LGBTQ + community to the status of protagonist of a mass media, expanding and updating the agenciements promoted by Lampião four decades ago. Specific issues and material aspects are addressed in a complex form, crossing social, editorial and journalistic temporalities.
