Descripción
Sumario:Considering the confrontation between two texts from Max Weber, namely, Some Categories of Interpretive Sociology and Basic Concepts in Sociology, the article turns to the analysis of a specific concept within the first text, namely the concept of "type of Rationality concerning the correct" (Typus der Richtigkeitsrationalität), especially to the fact that this concept is related to the idea of “correctness". This idea can be found represented by the concept of "adequacy of meaning", which is present in the second text, with a significant semantic change. The article seeks to clarify these concepts within a theory of action, as well as how they are consistent with the differences between the mentioned weberian texts.
