| Sumario: | The objective is to review the scientific articles published in the last five years on long-lived elderly (≥ 80 years) and to identify the profile of these publications. An review of literature was carried out, using the Virtual Health Library. The search results in the selection of 36 national and international articles. It was observed that most of the studies were of a cross-sectional type, in countries of Europe and a greater participation of the elderly women. Cancer and heart disease were the topics most covered. |
