Descripción
Sumario: In a way of establishing a return to elementary issues under the Discorse Analysis (DA) field in Brazil concerning the identification, organization and corpus analysis, as well as aspects of an ethical posture by the discourse analyst, we propose a dialogue with Santos (2004), especially with his text “A methodological reflection about discourse analysis” (original in Brazilian Portuguese: Uma reflexão metodológica sobre análise de discursos), once we comprehend that the author provides an important detailed view of the discursive functioning, and of methodological functional ways from the proposition of tools that can assist new researchers in the development of discursive analysis. The return on the debate on methodological procedures is performed once we believe that the studies in DA need didactic discussions that reinforce the need of analysis that are not impressionist but embodied by materiality and evidence of/in corpus, as well as an ethical posture in the enunciation processes and their ideological crossings. It draws on França (2017; 2009), in which was possible to notice a theoretical and methodological relationship with the procedures and tools developed by Santos.
