| Sumario: | This study presents the development of a method which enables the creation of signs on Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) for the specific technical terms of fashion design. The chosen methodology was research-action, and the analysis of the results was made by the line of participatory research. The development of fashion-related terms in the Brazilian Sign Language provides support for translators and interpreters of Libras as well as ways to the assimilation of new concepts by deaf students; it also contributes to the promotion of those signs into the communication accessibility in the high education fashion courses. |
