| Sumario: | This article presents a way to experience, research and record the city using scriptures with images. The article develops in the articulation of the fields of urban anthropology and photography, together with a phenomenological and ethnographic approach, brings the process of refiguration of urban palimpsests in the city of Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil. Palimpsests, which are already present in the city and are explained through the superposition of photographs, from the past and present. In the article, based on the description of the reproduction of old photographs of the city, there is a description/decipherment of the accumulated time in the city. In this way, the writings with images are characterized as a reassembly of time, which is not always visible, but which is still present in the city. |
