Sumario:Tchnology is part of many people´s lives with it new forms of languages are present and bring different manners of communication and use of language to the virtual environment. Wherefore, it is important to integrate reading and writing practices with the use of different semiosis in the school curriculum. In this regard, this study´s objective is to analyze how the infographic genre favors the development of reading skills and multiliteracy. This is qualitative  research, with action research characteristics, developed through a Didactic Sequence, from July to August 2022, with students from the 7th year of Primary School of the State School for Integral  Development of Basic Education “Getúlio Dornelles Vargas”, municipality of Primavera do Leste-MT. Ultimately, the results demostrate that the work with the infographic genre has contribute significantly to the understanding , interpretation and production of multimodal texts, with a critical look at many themes.
