| Sumario: | The relationship between State and Religion is ancient, producing models of political action and related issues. Morality has been subjected to such a relationship for centuries, until Modernity. Since then, the Secular State model has been proposed and the most diverse opinions have been elaborated, about the relationship between Religion and the State and its repercussions on the establishment of a nation's morals. This article aims to propose a succinct analysis of these issues, indicating how the relationship between the State and Religion occurs and, subsequently, pointing out the influence of Religion in the establishment of morality and its political organization, based on legal codes. |
