| Sumario: | In this article, I present an analysis of the recurrent lexico-grammatical features in three signed articles of opinion, availabled in online newspapers. The objective is to verify the distinct ways for which the authors relate facts or emit opinions about the familiar and domestic violence practised against women. Theoretical presuppositions and research methods are supported by the Systemic-Functional Linguistics (HALLIDAY and MATTHIESSEN, 2004; THOMPSON, 2004) and by the Evaluation Theory (MARTIN; WHITE, 2005). The results corroborate with studies already carried out in the area and contribute for the description and understanding of the discursive genre.KEYWORDS: Systemic-Functional Linguistics. Evaluation Theory. Ideational Metafunction. Interpersonal Metafunction. System of Transitivity and of Mood. |
