Resumo:In Information science with its interdisciplinary paradigm allows consolidating disciplines of other sciences from the analysis of the characteristics and properties of information, the information flow and the relationships between the informational entities of a context, so that the user can identify, manifest, interact, store, retrieve and integrate new concepts. This research aims to analyze the use of the word Governance, based on historical and academic circumstances that motivated the use of the term in the various informational spaces addressed in the bibliographic review, considering contemporary circumstances, trends, chronological aspects that modulate the term to build an informational model that allows establishing conversational spaces between information science and corporate governance. From the bibliographic review and the identification and classification of terms, the interdisciplinary relationship between the identified concepts, relationships and properties was structured, to characterize the potential of using the interdisciplinary paradigm of information science, with which tools of the information architecture within the intended information space. The establishment of arguments, here defined as constructs, to structure forms of approach and arrangements of management disciplines through information science, should be considered as an architectural gain for the retrieval of information on governance. Gain that makes it possible to guide managers on the ways to apply different disciplines that lead to the governance stage. Direct benefit from the use of information science, which from architectural modeling enhances the retrieval of information for the implementation of management models, as is the case of corporate governance.
