Descripción
Sumario:This study sought to understand the role and contributions of Rosalind Franklin to the elucidation of the structure of DNA, from the analysis of publications in annals and journals of Science Teaching. A bibliographic survey was carried out in the ‘Qualis CAPES’ periodicals, in the Teaching evaluation area, with classification A1/A2 and B1/B2/B3, from the 2013-2016 Quadrennial and in the annals of ENPEC and ENEBIO until the year 2021. Articles and analyzed through Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA), emerging three categories: 1) Controversies regarding Rosalind's contributions in the elucidation of DNA; 2) Rosalind in the context of female invisibility in science; 3) The articulation between gender relations and Rosalind Franklin's scientific contributions to the History of Science. The analysis showed little research on the subject but made it possible to understand the reasons that led to Rosalind Franklin's controversial participation in the history of DNA.
