Descrição
Resumo:The present paper aims to promote a reflection on the possibilities found by body in order to be an expression of being at present times. The relationship between body and contemporary world is taken into consideration. First it presents Baunan’s theory on contemporary social space, stressing fluid times, fragile social links and individuality which fund a fragmented body with no group references. The impact of this scene on body’s experience is questioned in relation to Winnicott’s theory on emotional development to inquire if there is any possibility that body came to be a Self place able to sustain our psychosomatic survival.
