| Resumo: | The present article, based on a critical and biographical study,brings reflections on the production of the Paraguayan poet HéribCampos Cervera, related to melancholy as a psychoanalytic constructand literary product. The text is anchored in discussions around exile(SAID, 2003), biography and biographical criticism (ARFUCH, 2010;SOUZA, 2005, 2011), melancholy (FREUD, 2006; KRISTEVA, 1989), and memory (DERRIDA, 2001). In summary, we carefully examined thestudies in Cervera’s biographical and intellectual dimensions through thepostulates of psychoanalysis in order to understand the role of grief andmelancholy in the two mentioned poles, life, and work. |
