| Sumario: | If individuals can exercise agency over their own linguistic insecurity, via risk-taking actions that reveal and characterize hypocorrection phenomena, what about biographical insecurity? The aim of this paper is to take stock of our research on IL and to review a number of concepts, in particular that of hypocorrection phenomena. Then, after proposing a definition of biographical insecurity, we will illustrate this concept by revealing the power to act that Yaël has succeeded in exercising over her IB, via the emergence of hypobiographization phenomena. |
