Sumario:The sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) is one of the main agricultural crops of great socioeconomic importance in Alagoas. The use of varieties with high productivity, high sugar content, and resistance to major pests and diseases is a decisive factor for the sustainability of the sugar-energy sector in Alagoas. For this reason, the present study aimed to evaluate the stability and adaptability of the RB07818 sugarcane cultivar in Alagoas. The experiments were conducted in 12 environments (combinations of locations and harvests) in comparison with the standard variety RB92579. The variable Tons of Cane per Hectare (TCH) was assessed. For the stability and adaptability analysis, the Eberhart and Russell (1966) method was used. The results showed that RB07818 has high adaptability and stability across different environments, standing out as a viable option for the sugar-energy sector.
