| Sumario: | The study we present has as its theme Imperial Taquaritinga: creation, installation and functioning of a district in Pernambuco and the daily relationships that were established in the period 1877-1887. Our objective is to analyze the trajectory of the creation, installation and functioning of the district of Taquaritinga, and the conflict of its installation, in the delimited temporal space, presenting through the research carried out the daily relationships that developed between the historical agents that made up that legal-social context. The research is based on the documentation made available in the manuscript collection JD – Judges of Law and JM – Municipal Judges and in the digitized collection PJ – Public Prosecutors, of Apeje – Jordão Emerenciano State Public Archive and in the collection of the Digital Hemeroteca of the National Library, in newspapers, periodicals and magazines. In order to understand how the dynamics of the creation, installation and functioning of the region took place and the daily relationships of life that emerged over a period of 10 years, it was of fundamental importance to analyze the documentary collection in parallel with the support of historiography. The result of this research is materialized in the form of a booklet, with the purpose of presenting to the population of Taquaritinga, especially to the student public and justice employees, a small part of its history. The narrative was constructed in easy-to-understand language, with attractive and colorful images, capable of presenting the reader with the scenario of how the trajectory of the installation of the District Headquarters was constructed, initially in the village of Vertentes, passing through its first years of operation in which the daily relationships that were established between the main characters that were part of the judiciary and society and the transfer of the district headquarters in 1886, which granted the status of head of district to Taquaritinga. |
