Description
Summary:The objective of this article was to understand the theoretical and conceptual relationships between studies on strategic decision making. The research was developed with data from 2590 articles published by the Web of Science, and analyzed using quantitative techniques. Four different theoretical dimensions were identified involving research in this field. The first related to the perceptible and not perceptible characteristics managers; the second related to the processes, models and structure; the third based on theories employed; and the fourth formed by the Upper Echelons Theory, results that contribute to the better understanding this field of research.
