Sumario:The migration to the state of Pará, in the context of Belle Époque, is an important historical-regional phenomenon. In this work, which is characterized by being a bibliographical revision of the theme, discourses over features of this phenomenon, trying to identify the itineraries, the experiences and profile of the individuals in this process. Steming from the analysis of theoretical references, content, methodology and results of Marilia Emmi, Cristina Cancela and Franciane Lacerda in their research on the Italians, the Portuguese and the Brazilians from the state of Ceará, who arrived in the region between the last decades of the nineteenth and early twentieth century concluded that its relevance to the Amazon social cartography is not just about the economic factors but also cultural and political issues. Thus, the emphasis is on the rich documental corpus and profusion of analyzes conducted by the authors, regarding to the condition of migrants in these destination locations, their motivations to migrate and the journey and the imaginary about Amazon.
