Descripción
Sumario:This dissertation aims to analyze in which way the Research Development Foundation (Fundep) works together with the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) to identify how this kind of foundation can expand its assistance to strengthen universities roles as entrepreneurial universities in the Triple Helix, notably from the context of the Legal Framework of Science, Technology and Innovation (Statutory Legal Framework of CT&I). The justification for carrying out the research is based on the relevance of the role of support foundations in helping universities to implement their innovation policy. Currently, the literature on support foundations is scarce, as hybrid organizations in the innovation model known as the Triple Helix, despite their contribution to the interactions between universities, governments and companies. It has been observed in the research that Fundep collaborated through mechanisms such as support to the Technological Innovation Center - CTIT of UFMG, the investment agency, Fundepar, and the innovation programs, as Lemonade, OutLab and CooLabs, helping to comply with the University's Innovation Policy. As a result of the research, it has been observed that the innovation support mechanisms contributed to the UFMG entrepreneurship ecosystem and can be used as examples by other support foundations in Brazil, working with Brazilian Education and Research Institutions.
