Descripción
Sumario:In Brazil, the Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS) are mental health services that aim, together with other care services, to ensure community-based treatment for people with mental disorders. This text presents an experience report about practices implemented in CAPS I, between 2011 and 2014, and makes reflections about them considering the deinstitutionalization process and the Brazilian National Mental Health Policy. Based on the practices developed in the CAPS in question, it discusses: the notion of Singular Therapeutic Project, offering a proposal to guide its updates; therapeutic workshops as a possibility to create collective spaces of care; and, possible actions to be developed in the territory aiming the consolidation of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS). Therefore, revisiting CAPS practices, the text points out ways and difficulties so that it become s coherent and effective in the face of deinstitutionalization challenge.
