Sumario:Objective: The objective of the study was on the training protocols of pelvic treatments used for the treatment of sexual dysfunctions. Methods: The electronic search was performed in December 2021, in the MEDLINE/Pubmed and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) databases. The controlled descriptors selected in MeSH were “exercise therapy” and “sexual dysfunction, physiological”. The delimited uncontrolled descriptors were “pelvic floor muscle training” and “female sexual dysfunction”. Studies dealing with pelvic floor muscle training as a physical therapy intervention for the treatment of female sexual dysfunctions, in English and Portuguese published up to the year 2021, were included. Results: Review articles, theses, dissertations and articles that addressed neurological pathologies were excluded. The 12 articles included analyzed supervised and at-home pelvic floor muscle training protocols and as for the intervention protocols, these are associated with other interventions such as electrostimulation, myofascial release, use of lubricants and vaginal moisturizers. Conclusion: The best of pelvic floor accessories carried out both in a prepared and prepared home supervision way and in conceivable and effective training in the sexual function of women in addition to women with pelvic floor dysfunctions.
