Descrição
Resumo:The Museu Nacional do Azulejo, in Lisbon, has organized, in 2003, an exhibition dedicated to the Real Fábrica de Louça, ao Rato. On that occasion was developed an extensive documental research about this ceramics producer centre, from which was analysed the current exportations of tin-glazed earthenware to the Brazil. ln this context we placed a special emphasis on an important order, in 1826, to the Imperial and Royal Quinta da Boa Vista, at Rio de Janeiro, as well as on the strong presence of neoclassical tiles from the Real Fábrica in civil and religious buildings in Salvador, Bahia.
