| Sumario: | According to the requirement of the standard ABNT NBR 15575 - Performance Standard of the buildings, indicating parameters to be achieved by buildings in this category, all these new buildings should be in accordance with the requirements since 2013. However, after last three years of regulatory requirement that suppliers of materials, designers and builders are still not sure about the performance of building systems used. It is true that the uncertainty is increased by lack of information, and sometimes is due to the ignorance about on the subject. In the field of acoustics the problem is aggravated because little is known about the performance of building systems traditionally used in regions that do not have testing laboratories. This research describes a case study that evaluates a number of usual construction systems typologies through real situations. Thus, using the knowledge generated about the performance of the tested systems, it aims to contribute for the buildings to provide comfort to the end user, besides simply meeting acoustic requirements. In this way, it raises questions on the topic encouraging other researchers to continue with the study of acoustics. |
